Hello, my name is Jade McGrath - I am a supervising social worker within Safe Base Fostering.
I graduated from Lancaster University with a Bachelor degree in Social work and my main interest has been working with children and families. I have had experience working with unpaid carers, supporting them to look after their loved ones and also as a support worker within an outreach team supporting families in the communities.
The reason I got into social work is because I want to be able to help people make the best decisions for themselves and their families. I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to be a part of Safe Base Fostering, as I believe this is the best place to be able to carry on supporting families of all circumstances and backgrounds to get the best possible outcomes for carers and children.
I look forward to building positive relationships and supporting all foster carers and children in this chapter of their lives.
