We wanted to create a space in the family contact room that was really comfortable, exciting and bright. We wanted children and young people to be able to feel calm, play, explore and be safe in this space”
Our rooms are extremely welcoming and safe with various toys available along with appropriate equipment for all ages of children, such as high chairs and nappy changing facilities.
Our space is available to hire between 9.30 am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday

£25 per hour
Half day 4 hours £85

Contact Space Hire Rules
To ensure the safety and welfare of the children, as well as a quiet and welcoming setting, visitors are asked to respect the following rules when attending the Family time room:
- A thorough risk assessment needs to be signed by all parties involved and adhered to.
- A child may not be left at the Centre without a parent/responsible adult in attendance.
- Smoking is not permitted.
- Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted.
- Visitors are expected to avoid arguments, abusive language and offensive remarks, whether to staff, other parents, children or volunteers.
- Rooms are to be kept clean and tidy at all times. Any breakages must be reported to Centre staff.
- Please be considerate to other service users who may also be using the centre’s facilities.
- Although the centre has a confidentiality policy if there is risk or harm to a child then this will be disclosed following the appropriate policies.
