Hello I am Eva. I am 9 years old. I live with my two Mummies. When I was 5 my Mummies said that they wanted to help children who needed to leave their own families because it wasn’t safe to stay and that they might come and live with us for a while. I was so excited because I was the only child at home and sometimes I got lonely because I didn’t have other kids to play with.

I remember the first night the kids came to stay. I was so excited but they were just crying. I think they missed their Mum. I shared my toys with them and tried to make them happy.

At first I don’t think the kids liked me and sometimes I got sad because I didn’t want to share my Mum but that didn’t last long.

Those first kids ended up staying and they are my brother and sister and I love them so much. Our house is fun and I like playing hide and seek. I always have someone to play with. My little brother gets on my nerves and my big sister says I’m annoying but we all love each other really.

I’m so glad that my Mummies are foster carers. Our house is the best.
