My role primarily focuses on the recruitment of foster families. I ensure we have all their references, medicals, DBS’s, local authority checks and all the compliances necessary on the system ready for Panel to read. When you come to panel (to hopefully be approved as foster carers) you will see my face as I am the minute taker.  

I live locally with my hubby, son and two dog’s molly and Minnie. They are my fur babies and my world. When I’m not at safe base I’m usually at my caravan in Skeggy or looking after my lovely granddaughter Chloe.  

I  love the fact that when I first joined Safe Base it felt like a ‘family’ with family values, now we’ve grown, but we still have family values first, and it feels good to be part of an outstanding team!
